My family will be moving up to VA in the next couple of months. I will be taking a part time job as a psychotherapist in Manassas. I am learning that most of the houses for sale in Prince William county do not seem to be in areas that are very chicken friendly. Currently we live on a microfarm in Florida. I am looking, ideally, for a farm within 40 minutes of Manassas, where I can buy a part of your land (5 to 15 acres) and build a house, have my chickens and an 1 or 2 acre orchard and garden (mine is organic, yours does not have to be). Additionally, I would want to be able to help out milking cows, cleaning stalls, and learning more about farming. Depending on your needs, we can also work out something in which I invest each month in your farm, and on the years there is a profit, I get a share. I am also willing to look at family farms or small farms that are in or on the verge of going into foreclosure. If that is something you are interested in or you know someone who might be, contact me at 352-318-2000 or send me at email at dr.snipes@allceus.com.
I noticed your posting on the Virginia Farm Posting board that you will be moving to Virginia soon. I am a realtor and a client of mine have became really good friends. In saying that I made him aware that if a buyer and him could come to terms on his farm that I am marketing I would walk away with no commission. This farm is outside of Winchester, Virginia and has 15.5 acres, barn, shop, home are all renovated to the comforts of life today. Taxes are 60% cheaper in our area comparable to the city area. I have alot of pictures if you would like to see the property. This farm needs nothing at all. (Just let me know if you would like the pictures) My email address is jrstickley@hotmail.com God Bless JR
