Eatwild.com has a locator map which lists farms producing pastured animal products by geographical location. Once you are at the eatwild.com site, just click on Virginia, then on your location. The map will zoom and re-center itself to list the producers nearest you. Then you can click and read about your local farmers, their products, seasons and contact information.
Sorry, but the eatwild.com site mentioned in my previous posting does not zoom. It only gives alphabetical list of farms by state. The zooming locator I was thinking of is at www.localharvest.org. Foodroutes.org and others also use local harvest's locator. It's the real deal. Try it.
